This is both a museum and an archeological storehouse :
marble from architectural and funeral structures, statues, mosaics and frescos, hydraulic elements and instrumentum domesticum from Roman times.

An impressive ammount of reproductions testifies the Roman civilization in all its aspects.

Modern Comunal Gallery

It is housed in a former convent of the discalced Carmelites, here we can admire works of art of the last two centuries; among others: Rodin, Balla, De Pisis, Prampolini, CarrĂ .

National Gallery of Antique Arts

An extensive collection of works of art dating back to the XV up to the XIX century ( Raffaello, Tiziano, Lotto and Caravaggio).

Museum of the late Middle Ages

A museum of national interest for its richness and variety of archeological findings: precious kits found in Longobard tombs, building material, marble furnishings, pottery, cloths and also imported jewels.

Napoleonic Museum

Museum displays Napoleonic relics, family keepsakes and works of art collected by Count Giuseppe Primoli, a descedent on the female side of the Bonaparte family.

Museum of the Jewish Comunity of Rome

The "Permanent Exhibition of The Jewish Comunity of Rome" is worth a visit, especially if you are accompanied by the explanations given by a museum guide. Texts, illustrations, ceremonial silver , furnishing and ancient fabrics bear witness to this historical tragedy as well as other salient stages in the lifes of the Jewish People in Rome.

Museum of popular arts and customs
